Menu Ideas for Small Parties

For us, the best part of planning a party is planning the menu.  For most, however, coming up with what food to cook is the least favorite part.  We’ve put together some menu ideas for small parties to help make the menu planning easier.

Breakfast Menu

You may not be having a party at breakfast time, but if you have a house-full overnight this is a great breakfast menu that doesn’t have you up before the crack of dawn trying to feed your guests.

  • Blueberry Overnight French Toast Bake

  • Croissant Breakfast Sandwiches

  • Easy Breakfast Casserole

  • Baked Bacon

Preheat the oven to 375º.  Line a sheet pan with foil and lay out your slices of bacon.  After baking your casseroles, place the bacon in the oven for about 15 minutes or until your preference of doneness.

  • Assorted Fruit

Provide a platter of assorted fruits.  You can pick what’s in season like assorted berries or melons.  You can do two fruits like cantaloupe and watermelon, or all the berries you can find in the store.

Casual Dinner Menu

If you are planning to host a group of friends for a laid back dinner, then this casual dinner party menu will be a hit.  It offers some make ahead options so that you can feel just as laid back as your guests come dinner time.

Brunch Menu

Hosting a brunch party doesn’t have to be complicated to be delicious.  With a balance of sweet and savory, you get a little bit of breakfast and a little bit of lunch.

Not a fan of goat cheese?  Then, check out this link on how to create your own frittata.

Cocktail Party Menu

As fancy as a cocktail party sounds, you don’t have to be a trained chef to host a gorgeous party with food that leaves your guests coming back for more.

Night out on the Grill Menu

Firing up the grill for some friends doesn’t have to be the same old.  Impress your guests with this unique menu for grilling out!

No matter the type of small party you are hosting, the menu can be creative and delicious.
