At Something Small Catering, we offer a variety of catering services from delivery to full-service. Delivery and setup services are pretty straight forward, but what exactly does full-service catering get you?

With full-service, each client receives menu consultation and planning that is customized and unique to their event. During the menu consultation process, we discuss the event details and the scene you want to set for the event. We use this time to get to know you, your likes and dislikes, your favorite restaurants, even your favorite dish at your favorite restaurant. All of these details aid in the creation of your menu. We also don’t want to plan hamburgers and hot dogs if you are planning on the fine china.
Once the menu is finalized and the date is set, our work behind the scenes begins. Not only do we shop for fresh ingredients and prepare the food items, we are planning out the details for presentation and service. We create food maps, plan serveware, and create timelines.
On the day of the event, we arrive, and immediately and get to work. Depending on the menu, we arrive about an hour early to ensure that food service is ready to begin at the scheduled time. During this time, we are setting up the buffet or organizing the plating.
During food service, we are there to replenish food items on the buffet or serve food, clear away dishes, take out the trash, and clean the kitchen. From start to finish, all you have to do is eat and enjoy your guests.
